High Frequency Radar Perspective of Putative Subglacial Liquid Water on Mars

This archive contains Shallow Radar (SHARAD)-derived datasets used in the analysis presented in the article: by Gareth A. Morgan et al. (2025). "High Frequency Radar Perspective of Putative Subglacial Liquid Water on Mars", Geophysical Research Letters, DOI: 10.1029/2025GL118537. These data were not available on the NASA Planetary Data System (PDS) at the time of publication. This archive provides SHARAD radargram data and supporting geometry for Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter observation 8827401. The dataset includes: - S_08827401_RGRAM.IMG – 32-bit raw image of the processed radargram (1553 × 3600 pixels), generated with the U.S. SHARAD Science Team’s standard processor. - S_08827401_H_RGRAM.IMG – High-band radargram produced from the high-frequency component after splitting the 10 MHz SHARAD bandwidth (Campbell & Morgan, 2018). - S_08827401_L_RGRAM.IMG – Low-band radargram produced from the low-frequency component from the same bandwidth split (Campbell & Morgan, 2018). - S_08827401_GEOM – Geometry table containing geographic, geometric, and phase-processing parameters for each radargram column of the S_08827401_RGRAM.IMG file.
