资源简介:
The dataset contains acceleration and displacement measurements from shake-table and cyclic quasi-static tests conducted on a full-scale roof structure. The test structure comprised URM gables built with cavity walls, supporting a pitched timber roof. It underwent a series of incremental dynamic tests up to the out-of-plane collapse of the gable walls. Subsequently, the timber diaphragm was subjected to cyclic quasi-static tests up to significant damage to the timber-to-timber screw connections. These tests complemented earlier experiments on a full-scale two-storey building specimen simulating the end unit of a typical Dutch terraced house. Their objective was to explore the seismic vulnerability and collapse mechanism of fragile URM gable walls.
The shake-table tests were conducted in 2017 at the National Laboratory for Civil Engineering (LNEC) facilities in Lisbon, Portugal. They were part of the EUCENTRE Foundation project 'Study of the vulnerability of masonry buildings in Groningen', within the research framework programme on hazard and risk of induced seismicity in the Groningen province, sponsored by the Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij BV (NAM). The project was carried out in collaboration with the research group of Masonry Structures from the University of Pavia in Italy.
