资源简介:
The objective of this study is to validate the presence of the synergistic relationship between ethanol and lactate in the EF_CE system that is similar as in the AD_CE process under different CSB colonization pattern. Furthermore, we explored the differences in microbial community composition and potential functional microbial synergy through high throughput sequencing, molecular ecological network (MEN) analysis, and Mantel test. The metagenome sequencing allowed the identification of the metabolic pathways associated with caproate synthesis influenced by multiple EDs. Subsequently, molecular docking produced the novel data set for probing potential action mechanisms of lactate and ethanol on the related enzymes in the influenced metabolic pathways. Lastly, this study proposed the mechanisms of promoted caproate production of multiple EDs in EF_CE. In addition, the economic viability and sustainability of the EF_CE process driven by multiple EDs were assessed using life cycle evaluation (LCA) and economic analysis. This research can offer both technical and theoretical guidance for treating organic waste that contains multiple EDs, as well as for the coordinated treatment of organic waste with different EDs.
