A multi-silique trait in rapeseed (Brassica napus) was investigated on transcriptome level. A homozygous multi-silique rapeseed population, “zws-ms”, as well as its near-isogenic line “zws-217” (normal silique) were studied to reveal the differently expressed genes (DEGs). Buds from three individual plants (T01, T02 and T03) in zws-ms populations were sampled and their RNAs were isolated respectively; so were buds from three plants (T04, T05 and T06) in zws-217 population. RNA-seq was conducted on transcriptome level based on Illumina system. Data such as DEG and their annotations, GO and KEGG analysis were then obtained.
