SKIPA Monsoon Vine Thickets of the Dampier Peninsula

This project will conduct community weed and restoration work on the federally endangered Dampier Peninsula Monsoon Vine Thickets. This will be informed and in collaboration with regional Monsoon Vine Thickets management projects conducted by Indigenous Rangers and Ecologists, creating a concerted and coordinated regional effort. The Society for Kimberleys Indigenouse Plants and Animals will continue their successful weed, restoration and propagation work in Broome's Monsoon Vine Thickets, while extending this work regionally to aid Monsoon Vine Thickets management by the Nyul Nyul and Bardi Jawi Rangers.The group will also aid surveys of ecological bioindicators, in conjunction with Ecologists
