Digitization and augmentation of Appendix 27 ("Colonisation and Hellenisation") from Hansen & Nielsen, "An Inventory of Archaic and Classical Poleis"

This dataset is an augmented digitization of Appendix 27 ("Colonisation and Hellenisation") from Hansen and Nielsen, An Inventory of Archaic and Classical Poleis. They contain both the Pleiades ID (PID) for each colony and metropolis, insofar as one exists, and the Polis Inventory number, again insofar as one exists (since not all the founders or colonies are poleis). The latest version is always available at https://www.darcykrasne.com/digital_humanities/polis_inv.html, along with additional information on the data curation and creation process and instructions for creating the colony/metropolis network in QGIS.
