Mexico: mobile subscriptions 2015-2021, by contract type

The numbers of prepaid, as well as postpaid, mobile lines in Mexico have more or less steadily increased between 2015 and 2021. In the second quarter of 2021, approximately 104.9 million of the mobile subscriptions in the North American country were prepaid, whereas around 22.9 million were postpaid. On a similar note, mobile phone sales in Mexico are set to generate over 16 billion U.S. dollars by 2024.
