Database relating to two studies on the carbon footprint of Spanish tourists and the factors influencing it.The survey was designed by the team led by Burgui-Burgui et al. (see author details in the papers).The data were collected by Netquest S.L. via its online digital panel across the whole of Spain (1003 surveys collected).The data were subsequently cleaned using both manual and automatic methods (z-score) by Mario Burgui-Burgui and Marta Rodríguez-Rey Gómez (980 valid records were finally obtained). Analyses were carried out on this data, leading to the publication of the two articles. The first of these has already been published (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.eiar.2026.108327). The second is now under revision (information in this section will be updated when the second paper has been published).
Access to the dataset, codes and explanation of the variables will be granted to researchers for non-commercial academic purposes upon reasonable request.
