Draft genome sequencing of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain GR4-5. Bacillus velezensis strain:GR4-5

Strain GR4-5, which was isolated from the rhizosphere soil of Korean ginseng, suppresses a broad spectrum of ginseng root rot pathogens, including Cylindrocarpon destructans, Fusarium solani, Rhizoctonia solani and Sclerotinia nivalis. Here, we analyzed the genome sequence of this strain to explore the genomic features responsible for its effectiveness as a biocontrol agent.
