Spain Economic Impact Database (2020-2024)

This dataset compiles key macroeconomic and financial indicators for Spain covering the period 2020–2024. It includes five structured tables: (1) Macroeconomic Indicators (GDP growth, inflation, unemployment, trade balance, government deficit, public debt, and defense spending); (2) Financial Markets and Investment (IBEX 35 performance, EUR/USD exchange rate, and FDI inflows); (3) Tourism (international visitor numbers and tourism revenue); (4) Key Economic Factors (qualitative and quantitative analysis of major economic events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, EU NextGenerationEU funds, the energy crisis, labor market reforms, and the IBEX bull run); and (5) a Five-Year Summary comparing 2020 and 2024 values across all main indicators. Data was aggregated from TradingEconomics, IMF, Eurostat, World Bank, Banco de España, BBVA Research, Funcas, and Statista, compiled via Perplexity AI as of January 2025.
