Carbon and oxygen isotope ratios of atmospheric CO2 in JARE62

Pure CO2 samples extracted from the atmosphere in Syowa Station were analyzed their carbon and oxygen isotope ratios with a mass spectrometer. The isotope ratios have important information on the CO2 exchange between the atmosphere, surface ocean and terrestrial biosphere.研究人员采用质谱仪（mass spectrometer）对从昭和（Syowa）站大气中提取的纯二氧化碳（CO₂）样本的碳同位素与氧同位素比率进行了分析。上述同位素比率蕴含着大气、表层海洋与陆地生物圈之间二氧化碳交换的关键信息。
