Simulation Data and Experimental Results for Controlled Rollback of Configuration Changes in a Mobile Platform-Based Information System
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains synthetic simulation data and derived experimental results for the study of controlled rollback of configuration changes in an information system on a mobile platform. The experiment compares three rollback methods: full return to the last confirmed configuration, selective rollback without a stepwise cumulative-risk constraint, and the proposed controlled rollback method. Four scenarios are considered: an isolated configuration change, dependent configuration changes, risky intermediate configurations, and violation of a stable condition. For each combination of scenario and rollback method, 1,000 realizations were generated, resulting in 12,000 realization-level records. The experimental parameters include 12 configuration changes, an initial survivability value of 0.70, a required survivability value of 0.80, a cumulative-risk threshold of 0.25, and the fixed random seed 20260728. The deposited materials include realization-level data, admissible-completion rates, aggregate performance indicators, 95% Wilson confidence intervals, normalized comparison profiles, graphical results, experiment metadata, a data dictionary, and SHA-256 checksums. The corresponding source code is available in the GitHub repository:https://github.com/tikey/controlled-rollback-simulation All data are synthetic. The deposit contains no personal, confidential, or operational data.
