资源简介:
This study aims to analyze the gut microbiota and fecal metabolism characteristics of periodontitis (PD) through 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene high-throughput sequencing and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). The results showed that there were significant differences in gut microbiota composition and fecal metabolites between PD group and healthy control group. Microbiology analysis combined with correlation analysis showed that Ruminococcus, Escherichia and Roseburia were significantly enriched in the periodontitis group, and Roseburia showed the highest correlation within the genus. Correlation analysis between gut microbiota and key differential metabolites showed that the genera with significant differences in periodontitis were usually significantly correlated with more metabolites, such as Roseburia, Lachnospira, Escherichia, Turicibacter and Ruminococcus. The genera with the same changing trend in periodontitis tended to have the similar correlation with some certain metabolites.
