This set contains SEM and TEM images with EDS chemical composition data for Al-Co-Cu alloy in a melt-spun ribbon form, which was applied as a catalyst for the phenylacetylene hydrogenation reaction.  The material preparation and microstructural analyses were performed at the Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
