Leclercia sp. LTM01 Genome sequencing and assembly

This project aims to discover gut-microbes of earthworm (Eisenia fetida), that are capable of metabolizing lethal nitrotoxin 3NPA. This project also aims to reveal underlying gene sequences of such microbes employing biological mutagenesis. This may help us understand how this annelid survives in environments contaminated with such toxins and the benefits it derives from the gut inhabitants to tolerate such stress conditions.
