The analysis conducted focused on determining the content of specific bioactive substances—ascorbic acid and free organic acids—in the fruit of the narrow-leaved cattail (Typha angustifolia, Typhaceae). Ascorbic acid content was determined by titration with a sodium 2,6-dichlorophenolindophenolate solution (0.001 mol/L) in accordance with pharmacopoeial standards, revealing an ascorbic acid content of 0.46% and an average free organic acid content of 0.99%.
