Transcriptional coactivator PGC-1a contains a novel CBP80-binding motif that orchestrates efficient target gene expression

This RNA-seq dataset was generated to identify genes whose transcription relies on the CBP80-binding motif (CBM) of PGC-1a in C2C12 mouse myoblasts. Overall design: We compared the levels of transcripts expressed in total-cell lysates of WT C2C12 MBs and PGC-1a-KD C2C12 MBs, the latter expressing FLAG alone, FLAG-PGC-1a(WT) or FLAG-PGC-1a(?CBM). Each of the four conditions was analyzed in triplicate.Â
