Mycobacterium tuberculosis infected Mus musculus lung Transcriptome. Mus musculus

Helminths are endemic in the populations where tuberculosis (TB; Mycobacterium tuberculosis) prevalence is highest, and human studies suggest that helminth co-infections contributes to increased susceptibility to TB and increased rates of TB reactivation. This project uses the mouse model of Mtb infection to study Mtb co-infection with the helminth Schistosoma mansoni. The samples came from the lungs of Jackson DO mice, that were infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv, for 50 days.
