Dataset and code for "Lake sediment heatwaves under global warming"

This dataset contains global gridded metrics describing lake water temperature, sediment temperature, and heatwave characteristics derived from climate model simulations. Each NetCDF file represents one climate model × emissions scenario (e.g. gfdl-esm4_ssp126_global.nc).Multiple files exist for different future scenarios (e.g. SSP/RCP pathways). All variables are provided on a 0.5° global grid (720 × 360) and represent spatially aggregated lake responses within each grid cell. Missing values are encoded as NaN. For more details, please refer to "NetCDF Dataset Description.docx". Along with the dataset, a code for plotting figures in the paper is also attached "00_isimip_sed_heatwave.m".
