"The Department proposes to replace the existing 42 by 24 feet deficient concrete flat slab bridge (built in 1956) with a triple 12 by 11 by 36 feet reinforced concrete box culvert providing a minimum 34 feet of clear roadway between guardrails. The vertical elevation and horizontal alignment of the existing roadway will be maintained. The approach roadway section will be 22 feet of pavement with 6 feet grassed shoulders. Approach work will include the necessary guardrail and surfacing work to tie to the existing roadway. The road will be closed and traffic detoured during construction."
