This dataset accompanies the published paper Lesson Study as a Professional Development Model for Teaching Spatial Ability in Primary STEM. It includes qualitative data collected from pre-questionnaires and focus group discussions. The pre-questionnaires and focus groups were designed to explore participants' understanding and implementation of spatial ability concepts in teaching. NVivo software was used for data analysis, employing nodes and codes to systematically organize responses. Key themes emerged, offering valuable insights into participants' perspectives, motivations, and techniques.
