Based on the GEE platform, the 2015 Landsat7 image is preprocessed, such as cloud removal, filling, mosaic, cropping and so on, and the 2015 Mongolia high-quality image is obtained. Secondly, combined with the geographical division data of Mongolia, the characteristic space indexes of NDVI, Albedo, MSAVI and TGSI needed under different geographical regions are calculated on the GEE platform, and the fature space models of Albedo-NDVI, Albedo-MSAVI and Albedo-TGSI suitable for different geographical regions are constructed, and the desertification difference index of different fature space models is calculated. The desertification grade is classified by Arcgis software, and finally, the desertification distribution data set of Mongolia in 2015 is obtained by combining the desertification distribution under different geographical regions, and the accuracy evaluation is completed. The overall accuracy is 87%, and the Kappa coefficient is 83.19%, which meets the needs of use.The spatial range of this data set is allover Mongolia (87 °44 °119 °56 °E, 41 °35 °52 °09 N), with a spatial resolutionof 30 m. This data set contains two folders: feature space construction index and desertification difference index. The feature space construction index file contains Albedo, NDVI, MSAVI and TGSI raster data under different geographical regions, a total of 8 files. The folder of desertification difference index contains raster data of desertification difference index (DDIAN、DDIAM1、DDIAM2、DDIAT) obtained indifferent geographical regions, with a total of four files.
