Polar metabolite profiles of CTRL and SQOR KO cells treated with vehicle or selenite

This data contains quantitative polar metabolite profiling data generated from control (CTRL) and SQOR knockout (SQOR KO-C6) SK-Hep1 cells treated with vehicle or 20 µM sodium selenite for 2 hours. The experiment was designed to determine whether metabolic alterations induced by excessive selenium exposure occur in an SQOR-dependent manner under conditions that induce mitochondrial oxidative stress without detectable cell death. Unbiased metabolomic analysis quantified 123 intracellular polar metabolites, enabling comparison of selenium-induced metabolic responses between wild-type and SQOR-deficient cells.
