This is a nationwide short survey on people's understanding of pork purchase and consumption conducted among different groups of people all over India using Google Forms. The nutritional content, taste, affordability, and ease of purchase are the factors that play a major role in pork and pork product purchases and consumption. Lifestyle changes make people prefer ready-to-eat meat products. The result of this survey showed that pork consumption is showing an increasing trend among the people of India. Different pork products are emerging, and people are eager to taste new varieties and explore different cooking methods.
