This FAIRsharing record describes: Identifier schema for the Department of Energy Joint Genome Institute (DOE-JGI) Genomes OnLine Database (GOLD). The GOLD database is a web-based resource that hosts a large catalogue of genome and metagenome sequencing projects, and associated metadata, from around the world. GOLD IDs are unique accessions assigned by the JGI-GOLD database and are organized into five levels: Studies (Gs), Biosamples (Gb), Organisms (Go), Sequencing Projects (Gp), and Analysis Projects (Ga).
