This BioProject profiles transcriptomic changes in mouse colon mucosal epithelium caused by loss of the chloride-bicarbonate exchanger SLC26A3 (DRA). Colonic epithelial scrapings from C57BL/6 DRA knockout (n=3) and wild-type (n=3) mice were processed for RNA-seq. Total RNA was DNase treated, quantified (Qubit), and quality-checked (Agilent Bioanalyzer; RIN >= 7). Directional mRNA libraries were prepared with TruSeq Stranded mRNA (polyA selection), including fragmentation (~200 bp), cDNA synthesis, adapter ligation, and PCR enrichment. Equimolar pools were sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq 4000 to generate single-end 50 bp reads; libraries are first-strand (reverse) oriented. Raw FASTQ files are deposited in the SRA and linked to the corresponding BioSamples.
