CLINICAL AND STATISTICAL EVALUATION OF THE IMPACT OF PRESSURIZED INTRAPERITONEAL AEROSOL CHEMOTHERAPY (PIPAC) ON QUALITY OF LIFE IN PATIENTS WITH PERITONEAL CARCINOMATOSIS: A SINGLE-CENTER RETROSPECTIVE STUDY

Background: Quality of Life (QoL) has become a key endpoint in modern oncology, particularly in patients with advanced ovarian cancer and peritoneal carcinomatosis. In such patients, the goal of treatment is not always curative but rather focused on disease control, symptom reduction, and preservation of functional capacity. Pressurized intraperitoneal aerosol chemotherapy (PIPAC) has been proposed as a minimally invasive locoregional approach aimed at improving intraperitoneal drug delivery while reducing systemic toxicity.
