Lowered Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (LADCP) data collected in the Amundsen Sea for the TARSAN Project, January - February 2022.

Lowered Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (LADCP) data collected as part of the TARSAN project on board of RVIB Nathaniel B Palmer during the research cruise NBP2202 between 12 JAN 2022 and 25 FEB 2022 in the Amundsen Sea (Dotson Trough, Dotson Ice Shelf, and Getz A and Getz B ice shelves). It used a dual-head ADCP RDI 300kHz Workhorse mounted on a conventional CTD/Carousel frame in a downward looking (s/n 24465) and upward looking (s/n 23444) orientation. The data were processed with Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory LADCP toolbox version IX (version 13) for Matlab. The processing used CTD/GPS (processed at 1 second resolution using SBE Data Processing software), bottom track and SADCP 38 Hz (processed with UHDAS) to constrain the velocity calculations. Each profile was interpolated into a standard 8-m bins in depth. Longitude and latitude are paired with the location when the CTD reaches the deepest depth of the profile. The dataset contains 269 profiles of full water column velocity. The data have not been detided.
