Differentially expressed genes between participants with high versus low myosin heavy chain fragmentation 24 hours following exercise

To gain further insight into the relevance of post-exercise skeletal muscle myosin heavy chain fragmentation (MyHCfrag), we performed a low versus high MyHCfrag analysis whereby participants were clustered into tertiles based on 24h post-exercise MyHCfrag values. In the highest tertile (n=6, 5 males, 2 TRAD), MyHCfrag was elevated at 24h compared to Pre (p0.05). These top and bottom tertiles were examined for differential gene expression patterns.
