Categorized substorm event list with different convection properties near onset

The event list is generated from the study of "Classifications of substorms with MLT patterns of SMU-SML indices based on convection properties". The first column shows the onset time. The second column shows the class for SMU profile. 'low': SMU mostly below 50 nT during the substorm; 'high' SMU mostly above 50 nT during the substorm; The other 3 classes have SMU enhancements over 50 nT. 'peak early': SMU peaks near onset and then drops. 'peak middle': SMU increases with the similar pace with the SML decreases and peaks during the expansion phase. 'peak late': SMU increases during the recovery phase. The third column shows whether the event is strong or weak convection based on SMU near onset (threshold=50nT). The fourth column indicates the classification for SML. The first letter indicates the MLT of the primary enhancements, and additional symbols indicate features in other sectors. 'n' represents midnight, 'd' represents dawn. For example: 'n': enhancements in the midnight sector only. 'n-d': primary enhancements at midnight and extends to dawn. 'd': primary enhancements at dawn. 'n&d': primary enhancements at night, while the dawn side exhibits nearly simultanuous but weaker enhancements. 'n&d,d': primary enhancements at midnight, and distinc dawn side enhancements occuring well before the midnight enhancements. The fifth column shows the classification by summarizing SMU and SML categorizations. See the JGR paper under the same title for more details.
