We sampled the apical buds of lotus at 0d, 12d, and 24d after planting and performed transcriptome sequencing. A series of genes related to apical bud germination were screened out. It laid a theoretical foundation for exploring the molecular mechanism of lotus apical bud germination. It is of great significance to rationally utilize dormancy, regulate dormancy and germination, and promote the annual production of high-quality lotus balls and cut flowers.
