Sample Input and Output Data for Automated IFC-Compliant Bridge Information Model Generation

This dataset accompanies the paper "Automated Generation of IFC-Compliant Bridge Information Models from Structured Design Data" (ITcon, 2025). It includes:Sample Excel input files defining structured bridge design parameters (metadata, alignment, main panels, sub-panels, and connection details) IFC4x3-compliant output files for two case studies: a steel plate girder bridge and a steel box girder bridge The Excel input follows the thirteen-worksheet schema described in the paper. The IFC output files can be viewed and verified using any IFC-compatible software (e.g., BIM Vision, Open IFC Viewer, Solibri Anywhere). These files are provided to support reproducibility and transparency, as the generation framework operates under proprietary constraints that prevent full source code disclosure.
