A LINGUOCULTURAL ANALYSIS OF THE VERBALIZATION OF THE CONCEPTS "NATION" AND "PERSONALITY" IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK

The article is devoted to a linguocultural analysis of the verbalization of the concepts “nation” and “personality” in English and Uzbek. The relevance of the study stems from the need to explore linguistic mechanisms for representing culturally significant notions in the context of intercultural interaction. The aim of the research is to identify the semantic and discursive features of these concepts. The study employs semantic and discourse analysis, as well as linguocultural interpretation. The findings suggest that the verbalization of the concepts appears to be shaped by the value systems of the respective societies and reflects culture-specific patterns of thinking. It is concluded that accounting for linguocultural factors is essential in language education and intercultural communication.
