Dataset for "Digital Platform-Hackathon Integration: An Effective Approach for Developing STEM, Coding, and AI Workforce Competencies"

This dataset contains the de-identified data and supporting materials underpinning a mixed-methods, quasi-experimental study evaluating an integrated digital-platform-plus-hackathon learning model for developing STEM, coding, and AI workforce competencies among 57 youth participants (aged 15–25) in Northeast Thailand. Contents:- De-identified quantitative dataset (pre/post assessment scores, platform engagement metrics, communication and skills measures, behavioral observations, mentor evaluations, workforce readiness, and three-month follow-up outcomes; participant IDs coded P001–P057).- Research instruments (Technical Competency Evaluation blueprint, Observation Framework, and interview guide).- Variable definitions and coding scheme (codebook).- Statistical analysis scripts/formulae used for the reported results. Not included: Raw interview transcripts and any records that could identify individual participants (including minors) are withheld in accordance with the informed-consent terms approved by the Center for Ethics in Human Research, Khon Kaen University (approval no.
