Bacterial diversity in seabream aquaculture. Seabream larvae bacterial community

This study addresses the diversity and taxonomic composition of bacterial communities (1) associated with the larvae of gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata) reared in aquaculture, (2) with their live feed (rotifers and artemia), and (3) present in rearing tank water. Bacterial community profiling was carried out via 454-pyrosequencing of 16S rRNA genes amplified from replicate metagenomic DNA samples. The full amplicon dataset comprises 186389 16S rRNA gene sequence reads obtained from 24 metagenomic DNA samples.
