This series is comprised of general correspondence files maintained by the Overhead Design Division of the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) from 1983 to 1989, and the Design Services Group of the Infrastructure Division of the Public Transport Corporation (PTC) from 1989 to 1997. The other series was VPRS 12858 General Correspondence Files, Overhead Design, Double Number System.This series included:- Overhead policy statements and policy files,- Project files, estimates, specifications, photographs of works, and schedules including plans and circuit drawings for overhead lines,- Newspaper clippings,- Correspondence, and-Technical reports and manuals.The P1 consignment comprises few extant files.
