Parasteatoda tepidariorum (common house spider) silk and venom gland transcriptomes

RNA-sequencing of venom glands from 32 individual spiders (to obtain sufficient material) and combined silk glands of one individual spider. The purpose of this study is to investigate the evolution of genes and proteins expressed in the venom and silk glands of this species.
