The mechanisms by which Hmga2 regulates neurogenic potential of embryonic and neocortical neural precursor cells. Mus musculus

During neocortical development, neurons are produced from neural precurcor cells (NPCs) in specific period, neurogenic phase. Previously, Hmga2 plays a essential role for determining neurogenic phase. Here, we are examining the mechanisms by which Hmga2 regulates neurogenic potential of NPCs focusing on its effects on transcriptome and epigenetic and chromatin state.
