Huanglongbing (HLB) is the most devastating disease of citrus. The pathogenesis of is unknown. Periwinkle can carry HLB bacterium which can be an ideal host for studying HLB. The goals of this study is to identify key genes regulated by Ca. L. asiaticus in leaf tissues of periwinkle, and try to elucidate metabolic changes induced by the disease development in the leaves.
