A dataset of the comparison results of the two reconstruction methods of proton computed tomography.

In order to accelerate the imaging speed of proton CT and reduce the influence of organ movement and breathing, the influence of different projection angles on the image quality of proton image reconstruction was investigated. The phantom was irradiated in GEANT4, and then Filtered back projection（FBP） and algebraic reconstruction technique（ART） were used for image reconstruction, and the normalized root mean square errord value d under different conditions were calculated respectively. The calculated results were plotted. The x-coordinate represents the number of different projection angles, and the y-coordinate represents the calculated d-value results. The smaller the d value, the better the image quality.
