Strategic Measures_Percentage of new residential units permitted within a quarter-mile of a high-frequency transit route or protected bicycle facility

This dataset supports M.C.1.a of SD 2023. The data on permitted new residential units is collected by the Development Services Department and accessed by staff through the permit database known as AMANDA. Spatial data on existing high-frequency transit routes is provided by Capital Metro, while data on existing protected bicycle infrastructure is maintained by the Austin Transportation Department and the Public Works Department. Each row displays residential units permitted each fiscal year and how many are within a quarter mile of a high frequency transit route or protected bicycle facility.The dataset can be used to understand residential development trends in relation to high frequency transit routes.
