The Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn NY, maintains a database of the label
data from the preserved plant specimens in its herbarium. The records include
label data for specimens of lichens, mosses, fern allies, ferns, gymnosperms,
and flowering plants. The collection is worldwide in scope with an emphasis on
North America, especially the northeastern United States. The purpose of the
dataset is to catalog the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Herbarium collections. To
provide ready access to collection data for research.
