Inner hair in the tufted trichomes of Cistus salviifolius L. (Cistaceae): light-microscopical image data and processing scripts

Light-microscopical images of transverse leaf sections of Cistus salviifolius L. (collection E-207, Rovinj, Croatia, 5 September 2026) documenting the inner hair described by Solereder (1908) in the tufted trichomes. The record contains Figures 1 and 2 and the focus stacks and single frames behind Figure 2 of the manuscript "Solereder's inner hair in the tufted trichomes of Cistus salviifolius L. (Cistaceae): cell wall, not lumen content", submitted to Botany Letters: FCA-stained and unstained sections in brightfield, after 8 min in sodium hypochlorite, a focal series at 100× oil immersion and autofluorescence with filter cube I3. Python scripts reproduce the tonal matching and the figure plate. README.md lists the calibration (µm per pixel per objective) and assigns every file to its figure.
