Abundant bacterium and fungi were existed in the cigar tobacco leaves, which were vital for the quality of CTLs during the fermentation. Compared with natural aging, the artificial fermentation made the fermentation process more controllable and efficient. To better understand the impact of microbial on the characteristics of CTLs during the artificial fermentation process, a comparison between the unfermented and fermented CTLs in the community structure of bacterial and fungal was conducted.
