PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved methods for modification of genes in plant cells， and plants and seeds derived therefrom. SOLUTION: The invention relates to increased efficiency of targeted gene mutation by combining gene repair oligonucleotides with approaches that enhance availability of components of target cell gene repair mechanisms， by introducing a gene repair oligonucleobase (GRON)-mediated mutation into a target deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) sequence in a plant cell in the presence of antibiotics of bleomycin family.
