Scope of public institutions for inter-municipal cooperation (own taxation or other)
Public institutions for inter-municipal cooperation (EPCI) are groupings of municipalities whose purpose is to draw up “common development projects within solidarity zones”. They are subject to common rules which are homogeneous and comparable to those of local authorities.

The information presented here relates to EPCI with own taxation (agglomeration communities, communities of municipalities), as well as EPCI without own taxation (SIVU), Multiple Vocation Intercommunal Unions (SIVOM), Closed Joint Unions (SFs) and Open Mixed Trade Unions (open MUs).

本次展示的信息涵盖拥有自有税收权的EPCI（包括城市共同体、市镇联合体），以及无自有税收权的EPCI：单职能跨市联合体（SIVU，Syndicat Intercommunal à Vocation Unique）、多职能跨市联合体（SIVOM，Syndicat Intercommunal à Vocation Multiple）、封闭式联合机构（SFs）与开放式混合贸易联合体（open MUs）。
