Non-European Mathematics Manuscripts: Multilingual Translation Drafts and Modern LaTeX Sources
收藏资源简介:
Dedicated record for non-European and multilingual mathematical manuscripts in the Modern LaTeX Editions project. It currently contains Chinese, Indian/Sanskrit, Islamic/Arabic, and historical-reference mathematical works as modern-LaTeX reader PDFs, translation drafts, source files, and preservation artifacts. Current public surface. The top-level PDFs are the stricter render-checked subset: [#####-----] 30 reader PDFs / 816 pages. The latest update promotes a rebuilt Aryabhata original-language Sanskrit reader with corrected Devanagari/Latin font scoping. Files with sparse body pages, placeholder glyphs, garbled romanization, or unresolved layout problems are preserved in ZIP artifacts instead of being shown as reader-facing PDFs. Status at a glance. Strict top-level reader surface: [#####-----] smaller but cleaner set of work-level PDFs. Source/provenance preservation: [##########] source bundles, OCR text, page images, audit notes, and broader drafts are retained in ZIP artifacts. Sanskrit/Indian repair lane: [###-------] Aryabhata original and Lilavati original are present; Bijaganita, Aryabhata English, and Brahmagupta remain queued for source-level repair. Held repair queue: [#######---] known placeholder, glyph, and layout issues are cataloged for source-level repair before those readers return to the top level. Proofreading/final edition status: [----------] working editions for checking, not certified critical editions. The public organization is by work and language. The archive favors a clean reader surface while preserving as much provenance and repair material as possible for continuation.
