Overview of the hitherto published diversity of Amphipoda in Switzerland, neighboring countries of Switzerland (Austria, Germany, Italy, France) as well as Slovenia.

The latter is especially well-studied and and therefore given for comparison. For each country, diversity at the family, genus and species level is given. We first give the number of taxa at each level from Fauna Europaea [77] and after the diagonal slash from other overview publications screened (when available, a list of these publications is given in the Method section).
