资源简介:
Records from 69 sites, covering the whole island.
Sites stratified by topography (2 classes: slopes or drainage lines), altitude (4 classes: 0-100 m, 100-200 m, 200-300 m, 300m+), vegetation type (5 types), aspect (2 classes: E,W), north-south position on island (3 classes: north, middle, south).
Pitfall traps and yellow pan traps opened for 6 weeks (summer).
Hand searches for worms, slugs and snails.
Specimens identified to species level.
We used the data to construct statistical models of the spatial distribution of species in relation to the above variables.
Intended as a baseline survey to detect, monitor and predict effects of climate change and local human impacts (e.g. alien species introductions) on biota.
This work was carried out as part of ASAC project 104 (ASAC_104).

The detergent column indicates whether a drop of detergent was added to the yellowpans or not. A 1 = yes.
