Data of the improvement of saline-alkali land using pine needles

The experimental field has a total area of 20,000 m2. To facilitate the control of the experiment and the comparison of different treatments, the experimental field was divided into three plots, designated as 5S06, 5S07, and 5S08 respectively. Before the planting of winter wheat, pine needles (7500 kg/hm2) were applied on the 5S08 plot, while the 5S06 and 5S07 plots served as control groups. Other than the application of pine needles, all other treatments in the three plots were exactly the same.
